As part of her mitzvah projects, she
baked treats for seniors at the Federation
Apartments and she works at Temple
Israel in classes and at the Sunday
School office. In addition, she helped at
Temple Israel's Labor Day picnic.

Joshua Baker will be called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah Friday, Jan. 28, at
Temple Ernanu-El. Sharing in his joy
will be his parents, Janette and Bradley
Baker, brothers Brian and David, grand-
parents Wiera Lewin, Natalie and Irving
Baker. He is also the
grandson of the late
Herc Lewin.
Josh is a seventh-
grade honor student
at Norup Middle
School in Oak Park.
For his mitzvah proj-
ect, he worked at the
Temple Emanu-El
nursery school day camp.
