fabulous thing happened to David and Missy Bean
that they had not exactly counted on—their family of
four grew to be five. Maya, 111/2 and Adam, 71/2 are
now the older siblings to the family's newest bundle of
joy, a baby girl named Annabel whose first night home
from the hospital ended with an early morning phone
call to—Gittleman.

"Add on another room!" commanded the happy—though
sleepless-couple as they awoke (repeatedly) to the
reminder that a newborn, whose only needs are to eat,
sleep and cry (a lot) could not really share a room with
anyone, either doting parents or a loving sister.

That's when the Beans turned to Gittleman to do the job,
do it fast and they did.

Less than four months later, Annabel sleeps through the
night in a cozy nursery, not far from her parents but all
on her own. Below her, a new mudroom and laundry room are the unexpected and highly valued pluses of the
motivating factor—getting Annabel a room of her own and a full night's sleep for mom and dad.

"Every morning when David left for work, he would say to the guys, 'Get it done!' " recalled Missy. The Gittleman
guys knew what he meant. Four years ago, Gittleman added a master suite and a great room to the Bean's home.
The job went quickly and the results were spectacular, a scenario that repeated itself a second time.

it went perfectly," said Missy, "It's absolutely wonderful"!

For planned projects or those that come up unexpectedly, Gittleman Construction is a company to count on.

the resolution, which passed following
the 1967 war.
AVOT notes that Rostow said of
Resolution 242: "[It] calls on the parties
to make peace and allows Israel to
administer the territories it occupied in
1967 until 'a just and lasting peace in
the Middle East' is achieved. When
such a peace is made, Israel is required
to withdraw its armed forces 'from ter-
ritories' it occupied during the `Six-Day
War — not from 'the' territories nor
from 'all' the territories, but from some
of the territories."

8.) Myth: Palestinians had their own
count?), until Israel was established
Truth: There has never been a
Palestinian state.
There was an area — first, under a
mandate from the League of Nations
and later, under the United Nations —
identified as "Palestine" and adminis-
tered by the British until the establish-
ment of the State of Israel. This
"Palestine" was never a formal country,
and most of those identifying as
"Palestinian" before 1948 were, in fact,
Jews.
Some of the Arabs living there did
have a long history in the area.
However, the majority of these persons
referred to themselves only as 'Arab."
Most of today's Palestinians were
born in the West Bank and Gaza, and
others in refugee camps in Egypt,
Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.

9.) Myth: Arabs are second-class citizens
in Israel.
Truth: Within any society, including
our own, it's difficult to argue that
everyone is treated with complete
equality.

. However, Israel is a democracy that
provides rights for its Arab citizens
including, perhaps most important, the
right to vote, which is why Arab parties
hold seats within the Israeli Knesset.
"Israel has a free press, independent
judiciary and freely operating civil liber-
ties organizations, non-existent in the
Arab world, which together safeguard
the rights of women, gays, Arabs and
other minorities," Allan Gale says.
Contrast this with Jewish life in Arab
countries, where Jews often fear for
their lives.
Further, note Israel's approach in gen-
eral to both the Palestinians and its
Arab neighbors. "There are no buses
being blown up by Jewish terrorists in
Ramallah or Hebron or Nablus," Gale
says. "Israeli hospitals treat Palestinians
who are sick and Israelis still employ
thousands of Palestinians."

10.)Myth: Israel is an "occupier."
Truth: Israel's enemies identify land
that Israel won in war (which it did not
initiate) as "occupied."
"Israel 'occupies' the West Bank and
Gaza as a result of its defensive war in
1967," Gale says. "Israel begged
Jordan's King Hussein not to join the
attackers, Syria and Egypt, but he
refused, and subsequently lost the West
Bank." El

Riddle #1

Purim is just around the corner.
Maybe you're thinking of putting a bit
of cheese in your mishloach manot. So
tell us, what kind of cheese is made
backwards?

Riddle #2
