Q : My son is leaving to study abroad for his
next semester in college. I just put my father on
home hospice and I'm quite certain my son will
be out of the country when Dad dies. Any sug-
gestions to help alleviate my son's discomfort
with being away at such a time?

A: Have your son record the thoughts he wants

conveyed to the Rabbi, or spoken on his behalf
at the funeral. Also, we can do a phone hook-
up anywhere in the world, so he could listen to
the funeral service as it is happening.
