straight-to-DVD
film comedy

You remember
PAULY
SHORE. He was
the goofy young
Jewish comedian
who somehow
Pauly Shore: New
became popular
on DVD.
in the 1980s. I
never found
Shore funny, and it seemed like audi-
ences finally caught on as well, as all
but his first couple of movies died at
the box office.
The DVD's plot is this: Shore plays
"Pauly Shore," a comedian who tries
to extend his brief burst of fame by
faking his own death. However, the
fraud is exposed, and Shore is sent to
jail, where he shares a cell with Todd
Bridges, the has-been child actor
from DO' rent Strokes.
The Shore story is told with the
help of an incredible number of big
names who agreed to do cameo
2parts. The Jewish ones include
BEN STILLER, JERRY
SPRINGER, rocker PERRY FAR-
RELL and Hollywood Madam
