During the weekend of Jan. 21 22, Jews across the Detroit community are invited to partake of a total Rashi experience at Young Israel of Oak Park. The festivities, commemorating the 900th yahrtzeit of one of Judaism's most revered commentators, Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki (Rashi), will include shiurim (discourse) by noted local scholars, a special "Rashi Kiddush" and a Saturday night program for families.
