JUDITH MAYER SCHNEIDER, 74, of Franklin, died Jan. 1, 2005. She attended Colby College in Maine, where she earned a bachelor's degree. In 1974, she became a client of and eventually group leader and coordinator for the Continuum Center at Oakland University, where she was able to help women move through the cultur- al shift from housewife to work- ing outside the home. This led to her master's in counseling from Oakland Schneider University. She was also a docent at the Detroit Zoo. Mrs. Schneider is survived by son, Jason Schneider of Shelburne Falls, Mass.; daughter and son-in-law, Martha "Leah" Schneider and Ken Silverman of Pinehurst, N.Y.; granddaughter, Rachel Kenner and her mother, Katie Kenner; brother and sister-in, John and Barbara Mayer of Bloomfield Hills. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Schneider; devoted sister of the late David Mayer and the late Henry Krolik. Private interment.
