Lie;sts, enjoyed a sparkling evening as Jules R. Schubot
Jewellers in Troy honored Carla Schwartz, editor of Style
magazine, with a champagne reception in their store to
benefit the Women's Survival Center of Oakland County. A special
showing of the beautiful creations of jewelry designer
Henry Dunay thrilled the crowd. Patrons had the oppor-
tunity to meet Dunay and hear the stories and inspiration
behind each lovely piece
Strolling through the store to view the glittering gems
, . ,
to the elegant music of Rennie Kaufmann, attendees were
delighted to participate in the special evening and to help
isuch a worthy cause. "We are so happy to have the
opportunity to show Carla how special she has been to
us," exclaimed Maggie Allesee, honorary co-chair of the
ANNIE
event and board member of the Women's Survival
ADELSON
Center. Sue Nine also co-chaired the reception.

and Mrs. Alex Erdeljan, Mr. and Mrs. Levi F. Smith
and Dr. and Mrs. Richard Straith.
The Women's Survival Center of Oakland County
provides legal services, counseling and educational programs to
women and families in crisis. Since 1977, the organization has
promoted independence, self-determination and empowerment
for women by offering support services while helping them navi-
gate the service systems. 7
