Southfield and Gail and Rick
Schwartz of Woodbury, N.Y.,
are delighted to announce the engage-
ment of their children Jenny Cohn
and Brian Schwartz.
Jenny received her master's of social
work and certificate in Jewish
Communal Leadership from the
University of Michigan. She is work-
ing as director of Jewish Education
and Outreach at the Toledo Board of
Jewish Education.
Brian is in his final year at the
University of Michigan Law School
and will begin employment at
Detroit-based Miller, Canfield,
Paddock and Stone PLC in the fall of
2005.
An August wedding is planned at
Congregation B'nai Moshe.

hanah Renee Kimelman and
John George Annes were
recently married at the
Roostertail in Detroit. Officiating was
Cantor Stephen Dubov of
Congregation Chaye Olam.
Shanah is the daughter of Cheryl
and Dr. Joel Kimelman of West
Bloomfield. John is the son of Jan and
Jim Annes of Glenview, Ill.
Amy Cohen and Lisa Farabi were
the matrons of honor. Bridesmaids
included Stephanie Glassner, Rebecca
Hayman, Taline Linovitz, Aria Reiner,
Megan Whitney and Rachael Wolf.
Anaissa Kimelman and Juliana
Kimelman, nieces of the bride, were
the junior bridesmaids.
Jason Annes, brother of the groom,
was best man. The groomsmen
included Ravin Ghandhi, Brian
Hedlund, Donny Makower, Trevor
Pagliara, Brian Sherman and John's
brothers Jim and Justin Annes.
The couple were delighted to have
John's grandparents Ina and Horace
Grover and Shanah's grandmother

Annette Kimelman present at the cer-

Shanah's grandfather Nathan
Kimelman.
Shanah and John honeymooned in
Hawaii and reside in Chicago.
