Mentors are also needed in a com- munity-based program to visit with a child or teen on a consistent basis for at least one year. The visiting can be weekly or bi-weekly, depending on the mentor's schedule: MentorWorks is a non-sectarian Jewish Family Service program that matches children and teens with car- ing adult mentors who offer encour- agement and guidance and aid in their becoming healthy, productive adults.
