Pick Up Chanukah Art
All artwork submitted to the Jewish
News Chanukah Art Contest is available
to the artists at the JNoffice. All non-
winning entries are available during reg-
ular business hours (8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Monday through Friday) through Jan. 14.
The winning entries in the Dec. 3 edi-
tion are on display through Jan. 2 at
Shalom Street in the Jewish Community
Center in West Bloomfield. Those
entries will be available for pickup at the
Jewish News from Jan. 4-14.
The Jewish News is at 29200
Northwestern Highway, Suite 110,
Southfield, at the northwest corner of
Northwestern Highway and Franklin
Road. No entries can be returned by
mail; the entries will not be retained by
the Jewish News after Jan. 14.
Focus On Kids' Health
Children's behavior and mental health
will be the focus of discussion at the
next educational forum sponsored by
the Jewish Women's Foundation of
Metropolitan Detroit in partnership
with the Henry Ford Health System.
The event, "Understanding Your
Child's Behavior: From Moodiness to
Depression," will be held 9 a.m.-11:30
a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at the Henry Ford
Medical Center, 6777 W Maple in West
Bloomfield.
The program is open to the public for
an $18 fee. Grandparents are welcome.
There will be a complimentary conti-
nental breakfast and free valet parking.
Reservations are required by Jan. 14.

Presenters will include Dr. Cathy
Frank, speaking on "The Emotional
Health of Children in the U.S." Dr.
Frank is director of outpatient services,
psychiatric education and forensic psy-
chiatry at Henry Ford Health System.
Wiley C. Rasbury, a child clinical psy-
chologist and interim division head of
child and adolescent psychiatry at Henry
Ford Health System will address "From
Moodiness to Depression: When Should
Parents Become Concerned." Dr. Olu
Osaba, director of child and adolescent
psychiatry for the Henry Ford
Behavioral Health Services Detroit East
Clinic, will discuss "Treatment
Options." Following the speakers will be
a panel discussion led by Dr. C. Edward
Coffey, chair of psychiatry and vice pres-
ident of Behavioral Health Services for
the Henry Ford Health System.
Chair of the event is Francee Ford, a
trustee of the Jewish Women's
Foundation.
