KAHN, 87, of Southfield, died Dec. 11, 2004. He was the owner of Stuart's Ladies Apparel with stores in Dearborn, Wayne and Lincoln Park. Before World War II, he led a band called Tommy Marvin, which played the Detroit area. In 1939, he had a syndicated radio program, fea- turing Tommy Marvin and his orchestra. While serving overseas in World War II, Mr. Kahn played in the Army band and upon returning from the war, he got married and joined the family business. In the late 1960s, he returned to music playing at the Caucus Club and the London Chop House. Mr. Kahn recorded four different albums of original music with partner Keith Vreeland. Mr. Kahn is survived by his wife, Gloria Kahn; daughters and sons-in- law, Terry and Michael Tarnow of Traverse City; Patty and Irving Yellin of West Bloomfield, Amy Kahn of Georgia; grandchildren, Aaron Tarnow, David Tarnow, Jared Yellin, Carly Yellin, Jennifer and Mark Bylok; sisters, Helen Rice of Farmington Hills, Rosalyn Borin of California. Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
