Saline, died Nov. 30, 2004. A pro-
gram analyst for Border's bookstores,
she received her master's degree from
State University in Minsk.
Mrs. Kandisbrat is survived by her
husband, Saul Adelman of Saline;
son, Maxim Adelman of Saline;
daughter, Yelena Adelman of Saline;
mother, Remo Kandisbrat; mother-
in-law, Raisa Levinskaya. She was
the beloved daughter of the late
Mikahil Kandisbrat; the daughter-in-
law of the late Isaac Adelman.
Interment at Arborcrest Cemetery.

ROBERT K. WERBE, 76, former

Detroiter of Healdsburg, Calif., died
Nov. 25, 2004. As a real estate
developer, he turned the Leland
Hotel into apartments.
In San Francisco, he was chairman
of Grosvenor Properties and Gray
Line Tours. He was chairman of
Coach USA, the holding company
for Gray Line. He also served on the
Governor's Commission on the
Environment. He served as president
of the Union Square Association and
the San Francisco Convention and
Visitors Bureau. In 1994, he was
appointed by the mayor to the San
Francsico Public Utilities
Commission. Most recently, he
endowed the Robert K. Werbe
Distinguished Professorship in Head
and Neck Cancer at University of
California San Francisco to honor
his physician and friend Mark
Singer.
Mr. Werbe is survived by his sons
and daughter-in-law, Tom and
Jennifer of Hillsborough, Calif.,
Warren of Las Vegas; grandsons,
Tommy and Robert of Hillsborough;
sister and brother-in-law, Lois and
Phil Brodax of Los Angeles. He was
the husband of the late Maxine;
father of the late Joan and Floyd
Stanley.
