ois and Robert Kaplow of
Farmington Hills and Andrea
and Albert Prossin of Montreal
are delighted to announce the engage-
ment of their children Julie and Alan.
Julie received her bachelor of arts
degree in psychology from the
University of Michigan and her Ph.D.
in clinical psychology from Duke
University. She completed a clinical
fellowship at Harvard Medical School
and is assistant professor of psychiatry
at New Jersey Medical School.
After receiving his bachelor of engi-
neering degree from McGill
University and his doctor of medicine
from the University of the West
Indies, Alan completed a research fel-
lowship at Harvard Medical School.
He is doing his residency in psychiatry
at the University of Medicine and
Dentistry of New Jersey..
A June wedding is planned.

lyse Adelson and Danny
Karpel were recently married
on top of Aspen Mountain in
Aspen, Colo. Rabbi Amy Rader offici-
ated.
Elyse is the daughter of Deborah
and Ronald Rader of Aspen and
Kathy and Dale Adelson of Berkley.
Danny is the son of Miriam and
Albert Karpel of Miami, Fla.
The wedding was shared with lov-
ing family and friends. Elyse and
Danny's best brothers were Erik
Adelson and Steven Karpel. The cou-
ple were honored to have Danny's
grandmothers Dina Karpel and Lily
Roza from Miami participate in the
ceremony.
Elyse is a high school physical edu-
cation teacher in Manitou Springs,
Colo. Danny is director of operations
for a large radiology group in
Colorado Springs. Colo.
The couple honeymooned in Italy
and reside in Manitou Springs.
