OBITS
Q : My parents just moved from Florida to
from page 101
assisted living here in Detroit. They have a
pre-arranged and pre-paid funeral, which is
transferable according to the funeral home in
Florida. Is this true?
A:
The Florida funeral home is part of a
national chain that owns more than 600
cemeteries and funeral homes. The arrangements
they are speaking of would be carried out by
their Christian affiliates, either in Union Lake
or Rochester.
