Nov. 6, at Temple
Israel. Her parents
are Linda L. and
Frank A.
Rosenbaum. She is
the sister of Bobby and the grand-
child of Leah and Robert
Mendelsohn and the late Elinor and
Norris Rosenbaum.
Michelle attends Portage Middle
School. She donated to the Juvenile
Diabetes Foundation as part of her
mitzvah projects.
Peter Harris Rothstein, son of Diana
and Charlie Rothstein, will celebrate
his bar mitzvah as he reads from the
Torah Friday, Nov.
5, at Temple
Israel. He is the
brother of Amy,
Jenna and Kevin.
His proud grand-
parents are Esther
and Milton Lisner
and Joyce and Ron
Rothstein.
Peter is a student
at Orchard Lake Middle School in
West Bloomfield. As part of his
mitzvah projects, he enjoyed teaching
others about Passover when he
helped at the Matzah Factory at the
Jewish Community Center; he also
volunteered at Temple Israel's Labor
Day picnic.

Susie, a graduate of the University
of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and
Stephen, a graduate of George
Washington University in
Washington, D.C., are proprietary
traders at the D.E. Shaw Group in
New York City.

the daughter of

Beryl Rosenstein and Sally and
Gordon Slabotsky.
Ariel is an eighth-grade student at
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. For her
mitzvah project, she volunteered at
Yad Ezra and in a JARC home.
Matthew David Weisberg will be
called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
Saturday, Nov. 6, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek Southfield. He is the
son of Lori and
Steven Weisberg
and the brother of
Jessica and
Madeline. Proud
grandparents are
Henrietta and
Alvin Weisberg of
Bloomfield Hills
and Mary Schwartz
of West Bloomfield. He is also the
grandson of the late Joseph Schwartz.
