Dr. Smita Bijlani, a Rochester. Hills
endocrinologist, will speak to the
Congregation Shir Tikvah Sisterhood
6:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, at the
synagogue. A light supper will be
served. Dr. Bijlani will address
women's health care issues, particularly
hormones and osteoporosis.
Dr. Bijlani is the medical director
of the Crittenton Hospital Weight
Management Program, medical direc-
tor of the Rochester Center of Obesity
Research and clinical assistant profes-
sor in internal medicine at Wayne
State University's medical school in
Detroit.
