helsea Paula Chiodo and
Joseph Michael Greenwald
were married recently at the
Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.
Officiating was Rabbi Tamara Kolton
of the Birmingham Temple. Chelsea is
the daughter of Sam and Tess Chiodo .
of Bonita Springs, Fla. Joseph is the
son of Carol Greenwald of
Farmington Hills.
Emily Chiodo and Jackie Chiodo,
sisters of the bride, were maids of
honor. Wes Pringle and Tom
McCarthy were best men.
Bridesmaids were Pauline Izrailov, sis-
ter of the groom, Holly Perry and
Robyn Stimac. Groomsmen were
Emil Izrailov, brother-in-law of the
groom, Tim Hervey and Jay Platz.
Flower girls were Marisa Izrailov, niece
of the groom, and Raphaella Chiodo-
Levy, niece of the bride. Ring bearers
were Noah and Cory Izrailov,
nephews of the groom.
The couple were delighted to have
Joe's grandmother Rose Greenwald

participate in the ceremony. They lov-
ingly remembered Joe's grandfathers
Arthur Schultz and William
Greenwald. Even though Joe's bubbie
Florence Schultz could not attend, she
was lovingly thought of.
Joe and Chelsea honeymooned in
Italy and are residing in Macomb.

brated their 50th wedding
anniversary on Oct. 17.
Rabbi David Nelson conducted a
touching ceremony renewing their
marriage vows in front of family and
friends. Their children, Mari and Alex
Cooper (Huntington Woods), Sue
Lacey (Lake Tahoe, Calif.), Michael
Cooper (Oak Park) and Lisa Cooper
(Sapporo, Japan), hosted the event
that included a wonderful dinner at
the Radisson Kingsley Hotel in
Bloomfield Hills. David Cooper and
Rebecca Cooper also participated in
their grandparents' ceremony. In addi-
tion, congratulatory greetings from
around the U.S. and Japan were con-
veyed to the happy couple.
