FRANCES NEDERLANDER
KOHN, former Detroiter of

Cleveland, Ohio, died Sept. 13, 2004.
She was an active volunteer at Mt.
Sinai Hospital and belonged to the
National Council of Jewish Women
Cleveland Section and to the Mt.
Sinai Auxiliary. Mrs. Kohn was
involved at the Cleveland Playhouse,
in keeping with her avid theater going.
Mrs. Kohn is survived by her daugh-
ter, Emily Goldie Dankberg; son,
Stuart Gross Jr., stepchildren, Patti
Ferris, Michael Kohn; 10 grandchil-
dren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers,
Fred Nederlander, James Nederlander,
Joseph Nederlander, Robert
Nederlander. She was the wife of the
late Stanley W. Kohn; sister of the late
Harry Nederlander.
Contributions may be made to the
Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 4500
Rockside Road, Cleveland OH 44131
or the Frances and Stanley Kohn
Fund, do Menorah Park Center for
Senior Living, 2711 Cedar Road,
Beachwood, OH 44122.

BELLE LANSKY, 90, of Ypsilanti,
died Oct. 22, 2004.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Henry Lansky and
Wendie Farkus of Ann Arbor; daugh-
ters and son-in-law, Sharon Lansky
and Dale Loy of Jackson, Marlene
Crenshaw of Ann Arbor; grandchil-
dren, Geoffrey (Jill) Lansky, Aimee
Lansky, Aaron (Christy) Lansky, Jason
(Julie) Lansky, Joann (James) Abbott,
Paula (Michael) Rock, Russell (Kristi)
Dunham, Dorothy (James) Krepps
and Phillip Tracy; great-grandchildren,
Ajsik, Gwendolyn, Ryan, Rachel,
Rebecca, Trevor, Olivia, Lloyd, Elijah,
Gavin, Morgan, George Anthony,
Amber, James, Christopher and
Mariah. She was the beloved wife of
