Law Forum Set

"Corporate Citizenship and the Law"
will be the topic of the Driker Forum
for Excellence in the Law, sponsored by
Wayne State University Law School and
the Center for Study of Citizenship. The
Detroit forum will start at 3 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 8, at the school. For

a $1,000 college scholarship for his

Emily Schwartz of West Bloomfield, a
12th-grade student at Bloomfield Hills
Cranbrook Kingswood School, was one
of 66 participants in Genesis at Brandeis
University in Waltham, Mass., this sum-
mer. The students lived on campus for
four weeks, taking part is programs that
integrate Jewish studies, the arts,
humanities and community building.
Schwartz enrolled in the investigating
the media and ethics course and
improvisations from the everyday: a life
laboratory arts workshop.

Michelle Grossman of Oak Park was
recently selected to participate in the
National Youth leadership Forum on
Defense, Intelligence and Diplomacy in
Washington, D.C. Grossman "demon-
strated academic achievement an interest
in a career related to national security"
and will join the group of 400 high
school seniors from across the country at
the forum.

semi-finalists in the 2005 National
Merit Scholarship Program. Steibel, son
