The Good Body Playwright Eve Ensler (The Vagina Monologues) explores yet another women's issue as she delves into the notion of changing the way you look, no matter what your background. Twelve Angry Men Based on the American courtroom classic written in the 1950s by Reginald Rose, this drama centers around a jury deliberation following the trial of a boy accused of killing his father. While the jury, composed of 12 men, has to deter- mine the fate of the boy, one man holds out against conviction. Meanwhile doubts are raised and the American judi- cial system is brought to question. Cast members include Philip Bosco, Larry Bryggman, Mark Blum and Peter Friedman. Di Kaprizne Kale (A Novel Romance) Presented by the Folksbiene Yiddish Theater, this comedy with songs, about a romance novel-obsessed woman whose pursuit of the ideal husband leads to dis- aster, premiered in Romania in 1877 and was presented in New York in 1882. It hasn't been performed on the New York stage in 122 years. Adapted from the original play by Abraham Goldfaden, the father of Yiddish theater, this production is directed by Allen Lewis Rickman.
