SAJE Focus: 2004 Election "Election 2004: The Impact on the Jewish Community" will be explored at a forum presented by Seminars for Adult Jewish Enrichment (SAJE) 7-9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, at the Jewish Community Center in West Bloomfield. Democratic State Rep. Sander Levin and Brad Blakeman, a former senior official in the Bush White House, will lead a panel discussion on key issues of concern to the Jewish community in the presidential race, including Israel, the economy, health care, the environ- ment and the war in Iraq. Eric Adelman, government relations director of the Jewish Community Council of Metropolitan Detroit, will serve as moderator. Participants will have the opportunity to meet and talk with candidates for the State House of Representatives at a dessert reception following the formal program.
