Bloomfield Hills, died Oct. 12, 2004.
She was the executive assistant to the
dean of the Psychiatric Institute of
Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.
Mrs. Obre is survived by her sons
and daughters-in-law, Ian and Barbara
Scott of New York, Rabbi Dannel
Schwartz and Suzi Romanik; grand-
children, Ari and Jennifer Schwartz,
Peter and Leah Schwartz, Jennifer
Scott, Allison Scott; sister, Pauline
Kravitz of New York; brother, David
Freitag of California. She was the
beloved wife of the late Mortimer
Schwartz and the late Nathan Obre.

died Oct. 8, 2004. Mrs. Turkel and
her husband owned and operated
Loma Knitting Mills in Detroit of 55
years before retiring in 1983. Their
business provided made-to-order varsi-
ty sweaters and jackets to many local
high schools and teams.
Mrs. Turkel is survived by her son,
Harvey Turkel of Oak Park; daughter
and son-in-law, Susan and Michael
Liebowitz of Farmington Hills; grand-
children, Amy Liebowitz, Marc
Liebowitz. She was the beloved wife of
the late George Turkel.
