Leslie Sara Spector, daughter of Paula
Spector and the late Dr. Howard
Spector, will celebrate her bat mitzvah
as she reads from the Torah, Friday,
Oct. 8, at Temple Israel. She is the
grandchild of Barbara and Dr. David
Levin and Phyllis and Larry Spector
and the great-grandchild of Helen
Spector.
Leslie is an honor student at Warner
Middle School in
Farmington Hills.
Her most meaning-
ful mitzvah project
involved growing
her hair to make a
donation to Locks
of Love, an organi-
zation that provides
hairpieces for finan-
cially disadvantaged children suffering
from long-term medical hair loss.

Noah Benjamin Stone will be called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah Saturday,
Oct. 9, at Adat Shalom Synagogue.
He is the son of Andrea and Douglas
Stone. Proud grandparents are Janet
and Seymour Rosen of West
Bloomfield and Barbara and Charles
Stone of Franklin.
Noah is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. His mitzvah projects

included participat-
ing in the Relay for
Life in West
Bloomfield, at the
"Itsa Mitzvah Day"
for the Jewish
Federation and in
the Caring and
Sharing mitzvah
program at the
2004 Maccabi Games in Columbus,
Ohio.

Andrew Harrison Zureick will be
called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
Saturday, Oct. 9, at Temple Beth El.
He is the brother of Adam and
Alexander and son of Drs. Samir and
Brenda Kaufman-Zureick. Proud
grandparents are Dr. Jack and Elaine
Kaufman of
Clarkston and Faye
Zureick of
Baltimore.
Andrew is an
eighth-grade honor
student at West
Hills Middle School
in Bloomfield Hills.
For his mitzvah
project, he enter-
tained residents at the Brown Pavilion
on the Eugene and Marcia Applebaum
Jewish Community Campus in West
Bloomfield with several piano per-
formances.

isa and Joe Konheim of West
Bloomfield are delighted to

their son Ari Louis to Melissa Shana
Weiss, daughter of Audrey and
Michael Weiss of Beachwood, Ohio.
Melissa received a bachelor of arts
degree in elementary education from
the University of Michigan. She is
teaching in the Chicago Public
Schools.
Ari graduated with a bachelor of sci-
ence degree in cell and molecular biol-
ogy from the University of Michigan.
He is attending the Northwestern
University Feinberg School of
Medicine in Evanston.
