Brandeis Award, to Dr. Leora Bar-Levav and Dr. Gary Edelson. The doctors have distinguished them- selves as civic and community leaders, philanthropists and avid supporters of Jewish education and Israeli institutions. They are involved members of Congre- gation Shaarey Zedek and the ZOA. Dr. Edelson, an endocrinologist, is on the staff of Wayne State University and Beaumont Hospital and is chief of endocrinology at Sinai-Grace Hospital. Dr. Bar-Levav is a psychiatrist in private practice. She also is a faculty member of the Bar-Levav Educational Association and an active member and lecturer at both the Michigan and the American Group Psychotherapy Associations.
