FREDA MURAV, 83, of Coconut

Creek, Fla., died Sept. 30, 2004. She
was a housewares sales representative.
Mrs. Murav is survived by her daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Olivia and Leonard
Hammer of West Bloomfield; son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. Avery and Susan
Murav of West Bloomfield; grandchil-
dren, Brian Hammer, Lori and Robert
Stashefsky, Michelle Hammer, Joel

Murav, Michael Murav, David Murav;
great-grandson, Zachary Stashefsky; sis-
ter, Helen Kurtz of Farmington Hills;
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carl
and Helen Murav, Martin and Marsha
Muray. She was the beloved wife of the
late Benjamin Murav; devoted grand-
mother of the late Shari Lynn Hammer;
loving sister of the late Henry Olifson;
dear sister-in-law of the late Irving
Winstock and the late Lawrence Kurtz.

MILTON MARTIN ROSE, 96, of
West Bloomfield, died Sept. 30, 2004.
He is survived by his daughters and
son-in-law, Marilyn Kirk of Orchard
Lake, Janet and Richard Daugherty of
Washington, Mich.; sisters, Irene Brooks
of Chicago, Ruth Gross of Farmington
Hills; Pearl Goutman of West
Bloomfield, Evelyn Feldman of
Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Margo
Kirk, Sarah (Jason) Weller and David
Daugherty. He was the beloved husband
of the late Maryanne Rose; brother of
the late Louis Rose, Eugene Rose, Helen
Klein and Edith Rose.
Interment at Pine Lake Cemetery in
West Bloomfield. A memorial service
will be held Sunday, Oct. 10, at 3 p.m.
at Dorfman Chapel in Farmington
Hills. Contributions may be made to a

SAM SCHAMBAN, 93, of Southfield,

died Oct. 2, 2004.
He is survived by his nephew, Rabbi
Betzion Stein of Oak Park.
