proud to announce the
engagement of their daugh-
ter Melanie Yaffa to Brad Weber, son
of Peggi Sedman and the late Sandy
Weber.
With a bachelor's degree in fine arts,
Melanie is an in-house graphic design-
er for Crypton Super Fabrics. Brad is
an agent at Real Estate One in
Farmington Hills and is studying to
earn his bachelor's degree.
. They met in nursery school at
Temple Emanu-El, took separate
paths and reconnected their freshman
year of high school. They will be wed
in October.

arly Scissors and Jim Dorogi
were married recently at the
Orchard Lake Country Club in
Orchard Lake.
Carly is the daughter of Elliott and
Elyse Milstein of Novi and Jeffrey
Scissors of Beverly Hills. Jim is the son
of Robert and Tin Dorogi of Jackson.
The maid of honor was Beth Scissors,
sister of the bride. The bridesmaids
included Carolann Kinner and Jennifer
Dorogi, sisters of the groom, and Emily
Zipser and Melissa Dentry, friends of
the bride.
The best man was Benjamin
Williams, friend of the groom.
Groomsmen included Hugh Kinner
and Teo Konuralp, brothers-in-law of
the groom, and William Planck and
Jeremy Coolidge, friends of the groom.
The flower girl was Tea Kinner and the
ring bearer was Nathan Kinner, niece
and nephew of the groom.
Jim and Carly were honored to have
Carly's grandmother, June Ostrow, wit-
ness their union.
The couple honeymooned in Anguilla
and St. Barts and reside in Ferndale.
