Wauldron also created the design for Noogieland's kitchen and bath- room, complete with a fireplace mural. In addition to her work on Noogieland — whose renovation was sponsored by Toys R Us, Children's Fund and Kids' Playroom — Wauldron serves on the Gilda's Club Art Committee and has twice designed groups of corporate offices in the building. The owner of Wauldron Design Associates in Beverly Hills, Wauldron has been an interior designer for more than 25 years and works on commercial and resi- dential projects as well as having designed model homes and organi- zational showcase houses. In addition to her work in design, Wauldron has other creative interests, including her current study of Latin dancing with an emphasis on salsa dancing. "The new space inside Gilda's Club is unbelievable," Wauldron said. "Being there is like leaving the world of reality and going into this wonderful fantasy — a place where kids can forget about their worries and problems, where everyone is beautiful — and hope- ful." ❑ ,2?, Weddings (g, Social Events c?' , Corporate Events case D014.4/ THE SKYLINE CLUB 248.350.9898 SKYLINE CLUB Es:4,141.0,a in i9& Southfield, Michigan PLATINUM • OCTOBER 2004 • 7
