orothy Heideman Selik
recently marked her 90th
birthday with family and
friends at a brunch at the Kingsley
Inn, Bloomfield Hills. Her nieces and
nephews, who hosted the celebration,
came with their families from all over
the country to share their memories
with Aunt Dorothy. After graduating
from Wayne State University, Dorothy
taught first grade in Detroit for 30
years. Except for wintering in
California for several years with her
late husband, Bob, she has lived in the
Detroit area all of her life.
