Ga., formerly of Southfield, died Sept.
19, 2004.
She is survived by her son, Barry
Lattin of Newman, Ga.; daughter,
Susan Charles of Orman by the Sea,
Fla.; grandchildren, Kimberly Lattin,
Jason (Kelly) Lattin and Jared Charles;
great-grandchildren, Joseph and Klaire.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Joseph Lattin.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

SAMUEL "SAM" LEVY, 55, of

Kibbutz Grofit, Israel, formerly of
Detroit, died Sept. 1, 2004. A graduate
of Cass Tech and Wayne State
University, he was an accomplished
writer and musician. He made aliyah
in 1973.
Mr. Levy is survived by his wife,
Yaffa; sons, Ohad and Asaph; mother,
Jean Levy of Southfield; brothers and
sisters-in-law, Michael and Ossie Levy
of Kibbutz Grofit, Daniel and Debbie
Fass-Levy of Sebastopol, Calif.; sisters,
Charlotte Levy of Kibbutz Samar,
Tamar Levy-Walker of Oak Park,
Ruthe Levy of Waterford; mother-in-
law, Corrine Levy. He was the loving
son of the late Ralph Levy; son-in-law
of the late Rafael Levy.
Services and interment in Israel.

RHODA (BEBES) LOWY, 73, for-

merly of Southfield, of Houston,
Texas, died Sept. 12, 2004.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Frankie and Scott Miller of
Houston; son and daughter-in-law,
Gene and Jeannie Lowy of Cleveland,
Ohio; grandchildren, Jack and Jamie
Miller of Houston, Jessica and Nathan
Lowy of Cleveland; close friend Adelle
Valmocina of Houston. She was the
wife of the late Norman Lowy.
No memorial services will be held, at
her request. Contributions may be
made to the local Multiple Sclerosis
Society.

BENJAMIN MARCUSON, 18, of

Farmington Hills, died Sept. 17, 2004.
He was a student and was active with
the Friendship Circle.
Mr. Marcuson is survived by his
mother, Debbie Marcuson of
Farmington Hills; sister, Beth
Marcuson of Farmington Hills; grand-

She was the vice president for Acordia
Insurance
Company, where
she worked for 35
years. She was also
a vice president of
Michigan Orchid
Society, a docent at
the Detroit Zoo, a
past president at
Oak Park Hadassah
Meldman
and was a graduate
of Michigan State
University with a teaching degree in
family child development.
Mrs. Meldman is survived by her
husband, Leonard Meldman; daughter
and son-in-law, Lauri Mendelsohn and
Daniel Dunn of Lansing; son and
daughter-in-law, Scott and Karen
Mendelsohn of Orchard Lake; grand-
children, Annie and Theodore
Harrison, Heather Dunn and Joseph
Thom, Joshua Dunn, Tessa Dunn,
Bradley Mendelsohn, Adam Fayer,
Zachary Mendelsohn, Erin
Mendelsohn, Wyatt Meldman, Rachel
Meldman, Rebecca Meldman, Jacob

Carol Meldman, Louis. Meldman; sis-
ter-in-law, Hyla Raphael. She was the
loving mother of the late Michael
