Laugh out loud as this dynamic duo takes on society and
battles the perceptions of whom and what our octogenari-
ans should be. In this Tony Award winning play we meet
Nat and Midge, the feisty heroes battling yuppies, street
thugs, drug dealers and ultimately time. In their quest for
dignity and self worth, they teach us the value of an
unconquerable spirit and ultimately the joy of living.

Set in a secluded spot in New York's Central Park, two
octogenarians are committed to fight off all attempts to
put them out to pasture. Nat is a lifelong radical deter-
mined to fight injustice (real or imagined.) He is also
something of a spinner of fantasies based largely on his
delightful repertoire of eccentric personas. The other
half of this unlikely partnership is Midge, a black apart-
ment super who spends his days in the park hiding out
from tenants who want him to retire.

Starring Arthur Beer and Council Cargle, long time Detroit
natives and celebrated actors, both are former recipients of
the Lee Hills award for Prestigious Career Service from the
Detroit Free Press. Arthur Beer has been seen often at JET
and most recently as Lazar Wolf in Fiddler on the Root
while Council Cargle, who has performed frequently at most
professional theatres in Detroit, makes his JET debut.
