engagement of their daughter Lisa
Beth to Stefan Hugh Matter, son of
Alan and Dita Malter of Pottersville,
N.J.
Dr. Schwartz is a second-year inter-
nal medicine resident at Mt. Sinai
Hospital in New York. She received a
bachelor of science in biology from
University of Michigan and a medical
degree from the Chicago Medical
School.
Her fiance is pursuing a law degree
at Brooklyn Law School. He received
a bachelor's degree from the
University of Michigan and a master
of business administration degree
from Columbia Business School, New
York.
An October wedding in New York
is planned.
