With a little help
from our Friends . . .

Sometimes a person needs a little help
— not a handout but a loan.
To get her through an emergency.
To make a payment on the mortgage.
To cover tuition.
To buy a used car that will get him
to his first job in America.

When that person has nowhere else to
turn, the Hebrew Free Loan Association
is there to help with a short-term,
no-interest loan.

Many of us, and our families before
us, have been touched by the humanity
— the acts of loving kindness — shown
by this Jewish community agency since
its founding in 1895.

Despite an improving economy,
the list of clients is longer than ever.
And so, to assist the growing number
of individuals and families in need,
Hebrew Free Loan itself has turned to
its friends for help.

In response, a new support team has
come forward. With their annual mem-
berships, they will enable the HFLA to
meet its operational needs and free up
more funds for interest-free loans.

These supporters are called:

"Thank you,
Hebrew Free Loan.
When it looked as
though we were going
to lose our home,
you were there
for us."

"Coming from a
single parent home,
it has truly been
a struggle financially
for me to complete
my education. Thanks
to your generosity
and involvement,
I will be able to
continue to pursue
my dreams."

"My husband
had enormous
medical expenses.
If it weren't
for your help,
we wouldn't be
debt free today."
