BERNICE TOMARIN, 81, of
ANDREW D. MARKOW, 51, of
Farmington, died Sept. 3, 2004.
He is survived by his brother,
Richard Markow of Wixom; sister,
Hilary Markow of Chicago; dear
friend, Georgianna; and grand-
daughter, Serena; cousins, friends.
Mr. Markow was the loving son of
the late Dr. Jack Markow, the late
Ruth Markow.

STANLEY RONTAL, 90, of
Boston, formerly of Detroit, died
Sept. 1, 2004.
A resident of Detroit since the age
of 12, he graduated University of
Michigan School of Music in 1939.
He served in World War II in the
European Theater and rose to rank
of technical sergeant. A manufactur-
er's rep for 46 years selling architec-
tural products, he was active until
shortly before his death.
Mr. Rontal was member of Jewish
Parents Institute and Club 120
(Alumni Association). He was also a
member of the Construction
Association of Michigan.
He is survived by son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Howard Bernard and
Marcelle Rontal of Germantown,
Md.; daughter and son-in-law, Beth
and Nathan Alterman of Boston;
grandchildren, Benjamin Lea
Farmington Hills, died Sept. 6,
2004.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Martin and Alice
Tomarin of
Troy; daughter,
Lynnda
Schumer of
Farmington
Hills; brothers
and sisters-in-
law, Nathan
and Bernice
Schecter,
Benjamin
Tomarin
Schecter and
Lawrence and
