ebrate her bat
mitzvah Saturday,
Sept. 11, at
Temple Israel.
Her grandparents
are Sylvia and
Alvin Schultz and
Rita Simon; her
excited great-
grandmothers are
Ruth Shoemaker
and Madelin Karlin.
Sarah attends Walnut Creek
Middle School in Walled Lake,
where she is an honor student. She
chose as her mitzvah project to
spend two weeks as a volunteer
assisting at a dance camp with
youngsters. She also volunteered at
the Fleischman Residence in West
Bloomfield.
