May the coming year be filled
with health and happiness for
all our family & friends.

On Saturday, Sept. 11, the members of
Temple Beth El and guests will observe
Selichot, beginning with a family buf-
fet dinner, followed by Havdalah and a
family concert.
Featured concert performers will be
the father-daughter duo Steve and
Caitlin Klaper in a program of original
Jewish music that combines pop, jazz,
folk music, blues and Latin rhythms.
The 7 p.m. concert, open to the
community without charge, is spon-
sored by the John and Miriam Cohen
Family Fund for High Holiday Music.
Following the concert, there will be
an 8 p.m. Selichot healing service for
adults, led by Rabbis Syme and
Castiglione and Cantor Gottlieb. There
will be a variety of children's activities.

Classes for the Congregation Beth

12th-graders will explore "Facing
History and Ourselves — Jewish Life
in Europe." Eighth- to 12th-graders
may choose "Chug Ivrit — Modern
Hebrew for Day School Graduates."
