Ian Zinderman
(Shmuel Hanina)
was called to the
Torah for the occa-
sion of his bar
mitzvah on
Saturday, Aug. 28,
at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. He is
the son of Martha
and Steven Zinderman and brother of
Aaron. Grandparents are Murray and
Sandy Zinderman, the late Jean
Zinderman and Tom and Jean Petee.
Along with the Boy Scouts, Ian par-
ticipated in the tour de cure fund-rais-
er for diabetes and stood honor guard
at the Holocaust memorial in Lansing.
He recently finished his requirements
for the Neir Tamid Boy Scout emblem
as one of his mitzvah projects.

language pathology from Michigan
State University. She is employed as a
speech-language pathologist by the Mt.
Prospect school district.
