In-line Hockey — Detroit's 16-
and-under team won the gold medal.
An 8-0 opening game victory against
Baltimore was followed by Detroit's
only loss, 5-4, against Philadelphia.
During the tournament, Detroit
outscored its opponents 60-16, and
captured the gold medal with a 7-3
victory over host Greater

Softball — Detroit played great
softball, but lost the gold medal
