Her recollections of her trips to Fresh Air Camp in sub- urban Detroit in the 1910s and her return visit to Camp Tamarack as a senior citizen made her a focal point of the recently published book A Timeless Treasure, 100 years of Fresh Air Society Camp, by Wendy. She was the oldest living Fresh Air Society camper in Detroit and- received a standing ovation after delivering her nostalgic and witty reflections at the annual Jewish Book Fair in November of 2002. Mrs. Freedman is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence and Marilyn Freedman of Boca Raton, Fla., Barry and Sandra Freedman of Troy, Michael and Renee Freedman of Alexandria, Va.; 10 grandchildren; *seven great-grand- children.
