Cantor will be the emcee and featured
speaker at the Jascha Gelman Third
Annual Golf Outing Monday, Aug. 23,
in Commerce Township at the Links of
Pinewood.
The outing is sponsored by the Jascha
Gelman Memorial Fund created by Judy
and Sandy Gelman
in memory of their
son, a young lawyer
who died in an auto-
mobile accident in
October 1999. The
fund was set up to
aid students.
This year's hon-
orary co-chairs are
Gov. Jennifer
Cantor
Granholm and
Oakland County Executive L. Brooks
Patterson.
The outing will begin with a buffet
lunch at 11 a.m. followed by a shotgun
start. Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. The
cost of the day is $200 per person; hole
sponsorship is $300.
