JACK ABRAMOVITZ, 87, of

Southfield, died July 26th, 2004. He
was a butcher prior to working the
assembly line at General Motors for
many years. He was a member of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek, B'nai
Kith, and Perfection Lodge.
Mr. Abramovitz is survived by his son
and daughter-in-law Gary and Sue
Anne Abramovitz; daughter and son-in-
law, Eileen and Bill Glogower; grand-
children, Michael and Tammy
Abramovitz, Robyn and Tim Klouse;
great-grandchildren, Harry and Isaac
Abramovitz, Ben Klouse. He was the
beloved husband of the late Lily
Abramovitz; brother of the late Timmie
Bitterman.
Interment at Hebrew Memorial Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
to the Alzheimer's Association, Metro
Detroit Chapter, 20300 Civic Center
Drive, Suite 100, Southfield, MI

MORRIS "LEFTY" AVERBACH, 95,
former Detroiter of Los Angeles, died
July 16, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred;
son, Fred; daughter, Sheila; brother
Louis "Lloyd" Averbach of Farmington
hills; sister, Lillian Kaner of Southfield.
He was the brother of the late Ben
Averbach; son of the late Max and
Esther Averbach.
Interment in Los Angeles.

JERROLD "JERRY" BLITZ, 72, of

West Bloomfield, died July 25, 2004.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Marsha Blitz; son and daughter-in-law,
Michael and Julie Blitz of West
Bloomfield; daughter, Stacy Blitz of
West Bloomfield; grandchildren,
Jennifer Blitz, David Blitz, Alec Blitz
and Alyssa Campbell. He was the dear
son of the late Ethel Blitz Reisman and
Albert Blitz; brother of the late Robert
Blitz.
