Tami Elliott, who served as Adat
Shalom's Jewish Family Educator for
the past two years, is the winner of this
year's Laker Scholarship, a $2,500 cash
award toward an academic year's study
in Israel.
The award is funded by the Harry
and Sarah Laker Israel College
Scholarship Fund, co-sponsored by the
Laker Fund and the Beth Achim
Religious School at Adat Shalom.
Elliott has departed for Jerusalem,
where she will begin the first year of a
five-year program in rabbinic studies at
the Hebrew Union College.

Temple Beth El Productions of
Bloomfield Township will cablecast the
