posed Democrat

for 33 years and in
Oakland County
for 48 years.
Dzodin
He is a member

Exchange Inc. Dzodin is a 26-year vol-
unteer with the Emergency Management

Corrections

• In "Hot House Race" (July 23, page
14), the Jewish News misquoted
Democratic 39th District State House
candidate Michael Alan Schwartz as
being currently on the West Bloomfield
Wetlands Review Board. He, in fact,
served on the board 1988-1992. Also,
Schwartz was misquoted as having been
an attorney for 35 years; the correct
period is in excess of 31 years.
• In the same story, Republican 39th
District State House candidate Lois
Shulman was correctly described as a
graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law
School, although the Jewish News incor-
rectly inferred and reported that she is
also an attorney. She has never been
licensed to practice law in Michigan.
• In "Courting Voters" (July 23, page
20), it was incorrectly stated that 48th
District Court judicial candidate Steven
Kaplan had previously run for district
court judge. Also, candidate Victoria
Ann Valentine's name was spelled incor-
rectly.
• In "Journeying Jews" (July 9, page
12), the Web address for Seder Olam,
an online site including Shabbat candle-
lighting times, synagogues, kosher
restaurants, hotels and mikvahs around
the world should have been
wwvv.sederolam.corn
