The Greater Detroit Chapter of
Hadassah chartered a new group for
women in their 20s. Amit Hadassah
recently held its chartering ceremo-
ny and board installation.
Sue Luria, president of the
Greater Detroit Chapter of
Hadassah, welcomed 49 members
of Amit and their families and
friends. Hilary Isakow, past presi-
dent of the Greater Detroit Chapter,
led the chartering ceremony while
Gayle Eder installed the Amit
Board.
The charter Amit board mem-
bers for 2004-05 are Kimberly
Eder and Rachel Kamin, presi-
dents; Rachel Radner and Hillary
Rubin, community service vice
presidents; Stephanie Harold and
Jennifer Tenebaum, education
vice presidents; Debbie Emmer
and Amy Gach, fund-raising vice
presidents; Alyssa Endelman and
Shirley User Cetner, membership
vice presidents; Lindsay Faber
and Adina Kanner, programming
vice presidents; Erin Schwartz,
treasurer; Meredith Rice, corre-
sponding secretary; Jessica
Hoffman, recording secretary;
Stacy Harold and Elyse
Weinbaum, hospitality chairs;
Hilary Lubin, life membership
chair; and Marni Cherrin, sun-
shine chair.
