eredith Bret Sloane and
Scott Phillip Selfon were
recently married at
Shilshole Bay Beach Club in Seattle,
Wash. Rabbi Rachel Miller, a former
college roommate of Scott from
Walnut Creek, Calif., officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Arthur Sloane of Delray
Beach, Fla. The groom is the son of
Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Selfon of White
Lake, Mich.
The best man was the groom's
brother Brian Sean Selfon of New
York City. Ushers were Josh Sloane,
the bride's brother, Joseph Levy and
Tait Pottebaum.
The bride's attendants were Cynthia
Block, Tereza Jandura, Irit Eliav,
Jennifer Weitzman: The couple were
honored to have their bubbie Faye
Zucker Selfon at the wedding.

scar and Lillian Genser cele-
brated their 62nd wedding
anniversary on June 27.
Introduced as counselors at Fresh
Air Camp in 1939, they fell in love
then married at Fort Monmouth,
N.J., in the summer of 1942 while
Oscar served in the Army. Love is
extended by their sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Donald and Jane,
Howard and Susan; grandson
Benjamin; and "sister') Rosita.
Schnabel and Jonathan Schwartz.
The couple honeymooned in Greece
and reside in Redmond, Wash. They
met through an acapella group from
Hillel at the University of
Washington. Scott works for
Microsoft and Meredith is a graduate
student in library and information sci-
ences at the University of Washington.
