Jacobson Is Honoree
At the recent Women's Division Diamond Trustee/Prime Minister's Club tribute
reception honoring Nancy Jacobson, State of Israel Bonds-gained $1.9 million in new
investmentfinds. The event, chaired by Rochelle Lieberman and Meryl Podolsky, was

JWV Picks New Leaders
The annual Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit Golf Classic will
be held Monday, Aug. 30, at Franklin
Hills Country Club.
Registration and lunch for the 18-
hole event will begin at 11:30 a.m. with
a 1 p.m. shotgun start, followed by din-
ner.
The women's nine-hole tournament
will begin with registration and conti-
nental breakfast at 8:45 a.m. with a
9:30 a.m. shotgun start, including
lunch.
The cost for the nine-hole event is
$180 per person and $275 for the 18-
hole tournament. Sponsorship opportu-
nities are available.

At the recent convention of the
Jewish War Veterans of the USA,
State of Michigan, Bertram Ellstein
was elected commander and Shirley
Schlussel was elected Ladies Auxiliary
president.
Other officers for the men's depart-

vice commander; Jerry Schlussel, jun-
ior vice commander, and Jonathon
Hyams, adjutant.
