were recently
installed as co-presi-
dents of the Ruach
Group of the
Greater Detroit
Chapter of
Solomon, Rubin
Hadassah. The
installation ceremo-
ny held at E.G. Nick's in West
Bloomfield.
Rubin is an attorney and works for
Munder Capital Management in
Birmingham. Solomon is an events spe-
cialist and fund-raiser for the Alzheimer's
Association Greater Michigan Chapter.
Ruach board members also installed
were vice presidents Randi Berris, Nancy
Goldberg, Cindy Atler, Kelly Waterman,
Annise Goodman, Beth Kahn, Becky
Eizen, Dana Freed, Deborah Chasnick
and Marcy Randall; treasurer Laurie
Zeidman, and secretaries Rebecca Loren
and Julie Frank.
The Ruach -Group focuses on pro-
gramming for women in their late 20s
to late 30s, and raises funds to support
Hadassah projects.
Ruach's annual events include a casino
night fund-raiser every spring and a
kickoff barbeque in August. Other
events include community service, such
as decorating cookies during the holi-
days for the Orchards and making dolls
for sick children in local hospitals.
Ruach is planning two new, ongoing
groups this year: a study group focusing
on Jewish topics and a movie club.
The annual barbeque will be at the
Walled Lake home of Kimberlee Rubin
6:30 p.m. Aug 31. Cost is $7 for mem-
bers, $12 for non-members.
