Rabbi Eisemann talked about how
U-M students "are completely turning
the campus on its head and making it a
place where it's cool to come and learn
Torah. Maimonides graduates have
made it a place where it's really, really
cool and its really exciting to grow and
become better Jews."
"Never take what someone tells you
at face value," said
New Yorker Andrea
Friedel, one of the
24 newest
Maimonides gradu-
ates at U-M.
"Always question
what you do not
understand or do
not agree with. Do
not worry about
Friedel
offending someone
or disagreeing with
the majority. If you can do this and
learn to form your own opinions, only
then can you become a true Jewish
leader." ❑
