Ashkenazic Jews trace their ancestors to Central and Eastern Europe. Participants will be asked to fill out a medical and genealogy survey and to donate a small blood sample. The National Cancer Institute said, "One method used to identify genes associated with kidney cancer is to study the disease in a group of people who are genetically similar."
