RUTHE SHAFER, 83, of Westland,

died June 15, 2004.
She is survived by her daughter
and life partner, Beverley Shafer and
Linda Walker of Northville; sons,
Steven Shafer of Alexandra, Va.,
Harry Shafer of Southfield; sisters,
Florence Miller of Glendale, Wis.,
and Evelyn Eisner of Bloomfield
Hills. She was the beloved wife of
the late Jack Shafer; sister of the late
Sidney Eisner.
Interment at the Hebrew
Memorial Park Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice.
Arrangements by Dorfman Chapel.

SALLY SHORR, 89, of West

Bloomfield, died June 17, 2004. She
was a member of the David
Horodoker Society.
Mrs. Shorr is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, Dr. Allen and
Myna Shorr of West Bloomfield;
daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and
Mark Fenton of West Bloomfield;
grandchildren, Richard and Wendy

Zuckerman; sister and brother-in-
law, Geraldine and Albert Goldstein
of Palm Desert, Calif. She was the
beloved wife of the late Ira J. Spoon;
sister-in-law of the late Herbert
Spoon and the late Lionel Spoon.

14, 2004. She was active in many
aspects of the Seattle, Washington,
Jewish community.
She is survived by her daughters
and sons-in-law, Elaine and
Marshall Hartholz of Seattle, Rita
and Bert Schreiber of Southfield; sis-
ter, Sara Efron; seven grandchildren;
20 great-grandchildren. She was the
widow of the late Max Stusser.
Funeral services were held in
Seattle at the Congregation Bikur
Cholim Chapel.
