Glen Leads Beth Shalom

Congregation Beth Shalom honored
new officers of the congregation fol-
lowing Shabbat services on June- 19.
Rabbi David Nelson installed the
incoming officers.
New executive officers are Nancy
Glen, president; Richard Polk, exec-
utive vice president; Randy
Davidson, first vice president; Zieva
Konvisser, second vice president;

Lynn Lipman, third vice president;
Richard Emmer, treasurer; _Glen
Pickover, secretary.
Installed as trustees were Joshua
Adler, Gail Elkus, Mandy Garver,
Rosalie Gold, Marcus Helman,
David Kirsch, Susan Lichterman
and Leonard Newman.
Gail Langer, immediate past pres-
ident, chaired the nominating com-
mittee. Committee members includ-
ed Ken Bernard, Barbara Goodman,
Eugene Greenstein, Darren
Hessenthaler, Michel Holtzman and
Jan Wanetick.

Gurwin Heads Sisterhood

Jill Gurwin, newly installed presi-
dent of the sisterhood, has been
involved in Temple Beth El since
she and her husband, Howard,
joined in 1997.
In 2002, they were honored for
their temple activities by receiving
the President's Cup and by being
named Mitzvah Models.
Serving with Gurwin will be vice
presidents, Patrice Phillips, Sandy
Beigler, Harriet Cooperman, Karen
Myerson, Denny Brown, Lois
Freeman, Susan Marks Goldsmith,
Renee Jablonski and Sandy Moss.
Other officers include Laurie
